Closed areas for staff from Buckinghamshire schools involved in Teachers International Professional Development programme visits. Each section is maintained by the LA staff involved in the programme.
TIPD is a DCSF funded programme that provides opportunities for teachers to investigate and learn from effective practice in other countries, and bring this learning into their classrooms. By identifying a key theme for the visit, observing other ways of doing things and reflecting on their own practice, teachers are engaged in profound and meaningful professional development, as well as having the opportunity to develop lasting links with schools in other countries.
